Ever since I was a little, I’ve always had a fascination for design. It started with re-drawing newspaper comics and drawing my friend’s portraits. This grew into an attraction to modernized advertisements. The advertisements I see in NYC are the most fascinating to be me right now. From the carefully selected imagery to the handmade type, I found myself staring at ads for hours trying to decipher the hidden motive and design choices behind the artists’ work.

While I enjoy the quiet and serene atmosphere I’ve become accustomed to, I can’t seem to escape the rush and bustle of the city. This quickness motivates me to not let myself get consumed by my work. To contain my maximalist art style, I try to take inspiration from modernist advertisements while using some of my own illustrations and photography.
